To further align the exhibition and convention industry with the world, many industry players have begun to cultivate and seek students with innovative thinking and practical capabilities to join the exhibition sector. In early August, Mr. Lin Yi-Nan, Chairman of the Private Schools Retirement Fund Foundation, along with the General Manager and administrative managers of HWH, and industry experts, visited the President and teachers of Jingwen University of Science and Technology. Together, they aimed to promote a collaborative model between academia and the exhibition industry. Through this exchange, Jingwen University of Science and Technology gained a better understanding of the needs of the exhibition sector, which will help them plan the curriculum for their students and expand their perspective on the exhibition industry chain. During the event, the General Manager of HWH and the administrative managers shared their insights into the exhibition field, introducing the latest trends and future developments in the exhibition industry. Our big parent of HWH, General manager Huang, has again invited to ‘’High school vocational teachers symposium and tourism exhibition industry research and study’’, held by Department of Applied Foreign Languages , Lunghwa University of Science and Technology to give a speech. With his rich experience and profound professional knowledge, he gave a fascinating speech to the participants. By analysis of well-known domestic and international exhibition cases and discussion on guiding technique, manager Huang deeply analyses the core elements of exhibition industry. He pointed out that outstanding exhibition professionals needs to possess outstanding planning and organization skills, international cooperation and expansion capability and professional language proficiency, as well as personal qualities such as optimism, strong ambition, and high emotional intelligence (EQ) and communication skills. These insights not only provided valuable teaching references for the attending high school teachers but also offered new perspectives on cultivating exhibition industry talent for all faculty members of Longhua University of Technology's Applied Foreign Languages Department present at the event. This symposium and seminar received enthusiastic responses from high school teachers. In late June, general manger Huang was invited to Department of Art Management and Art Brokerage, Shude University of Technology to discuss the importance and foresight of exhibition management with the students. During the lecture, manager Huang keep encouraging students to gain workplace experiences during their study, by doing so, they can have a better understanding and adapt future work environment well before graduation. HWH has a long history of collaboration with educational institutions. Besides providing curriculum instruction, also they offer students workplace experience of exhibition activities and support talent development programs for exhibition professionals, this approach enable students to apply their knowledge that they learned to real work scenarios. General manager Huang believe that this collaboration is helpful for cultivating outstanding exhibition professionals with practical skills and innovative thinking. During the course, manager Huang mention,’’ the exhibition industry is a versatile industry where you can apply what you learn.’’ This statement resonated with many students. Why is it possible to apply various disciplines in the exhibition industry? In order to continuously expand exhibition industry to a level that can drive domestic industry, HWH has been trying to discover and nurture exhibition talents through industry-academic collaboration. It’s our honor to have invited the presidents of China University of Technology and Minghsin University of Science and Technology, as well as faculty from Ming Chuan University, to visit the Taipei Smart City Expo, through observing students’ work at the exhibition, these institutions can have a better understanding and are further enhancing industry-academia collaboration. To provide a high-quality work environment and to let student could adapt to the job, HWH always keep an eye on the students, and regularly invites schools to visit their students at work, ensuring both the school and students’ rights and interests are safeguarded. During the time discussing collaboration with school, HWH were also deeply admired by China University of Technology, Minghsin University of Science and Technology of their thoughtful consideration. To ensure all the students’ safety and provide them excellent intern environment, these institutions conducted repeated assessments of intern companies. Being recognized by these schools is indeed a remarkable achievement. Because companies can often judge the job seeker’s practice attitude and values from his work experience, and even his ability or suitability to work in the company. When recruiting talents in many companies, the following indicators are often used in work experience to determine whether this person can be recruited: often to change from one occupation to another: Many young people like to try, or they change the work immediately when they encounter an unsatisfactory job, but they don't know that this movement has already laid a bad foreshadowing.
